Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you visit tote-task.com (the "Site") or make a purchase on it.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, your IP address, your time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the web pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
COOKIES: Here is a list of cookies we use. We have listed them here so you can choose whether to allow them or not.
- _session_id: unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store session information (referrer, landing page, etc.).
- _shopify_visit: no data stored, lasts for 30 minutes after the last visit. Used by our site’s internal statistical system to record the number of visits.
- _shopify_uniq: no data stored, expires at midnight (depending on the visitor's location) the next day. Counts the number of unique visits to the store by a unique customer.
- cart: unique identifier, lasts for 2 weeks, stores information about your cart.
- _secure_session_id: unique session identifier.
- storefront_digest: unique identifier, indefinite if the store has a password, used to determine if the current visitor has access.
LOG FILES: Log files track activity on the Site and collect data such as your IP address, the type of browser you use, your Internet service provider, your referring and exit pages, and your timestamps (date and time).
INVISIBLE PIXELS, TAGS, AND TRACKERS: Electronic files that record information on how you browse the Site.
When you make or attempt to make a purchase via the Site, we also collect certain information about you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including your credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. This automatically collected information is referred to as "Order Information."
When we use the term "Personal Information" in this privacy policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
In general, we use the Order Information we collect to process any orders placed via the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for the shipping of your order, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen for potential fraud or risks; and
- When in line with your preferences, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain the Order Information we collected in our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
